The Forum Health Region Baden-Württemberg was founded in 2018 on the initiative of Minister President Winfried Kretschmann in order to achieve closer interconnections and greater cooperation between the areas of health research, healthcare and social care and the healthcare industry. Its stated aim is to further develop Baden-Württemberg as a leading location for medical research, the development and manufacture of medical products and the provision of modern and innovative healthcare. The Forum Health Region Baden-Württemberg currently brings together more than 600 stakeholders from companies, universities, research institutions and healthcare and social care.
Health is a central aspect of our lives, with growing importance in view of an aging society. Those who help people to stay healthy or become healthy enjoy – rightly – the highest recognition. Actors from various fields are dedicated to this responsible task. The Forum Health Region Baden-Württemberg brings together these actors to further strengthen this important business and employment sector of our state and to develop new and even better solutions.
